Explanation of Car club costs
Membership fees
Full members have access to all the cars in the Moorcar fleet for one year @£150 or 12 standing order payments @£12.50/month
Low user members have access to all the cars for three hours in any one month @ £50 for one year. The next two hours of a booking in any one month will be charged at a rate equivalent to the difference between a full member monthly fee @ £9.00
Hourly bookings
A day booking is based upon 07:30 until 07:29 the following day. The minimum charge period is 1 hour. If you book a 1/2 hour slot you will be charged for 1 hour. After one hour you will be charged in 1/2 hour increments.
Multiple bookings in a single day will be charged at the rate equivalent to the total hours. For example a booking of 12 or more hours in one day period will be charged at the day rate.
Bookings between 22:30pm and 07:30am the following day are subject to a minimum charge of £1.00 if proceeding or following a longer booking.

Mileage
Members only pay for the fuel they use in terms of miles travelled. This is calculated from the tripsheet record in the vehicle and added to the total costs of each journey made. The hourly charge is shown in the journey cost calculator. Members can calculate the approximate cost of mileage from the table shown below.
