VW Sharan 1.9 TDi seven-seater
A fuel efficient diesel the Sharan has a sixth gear to be even more frugal. The ride is excellent and on the long journey this is the car to make motorway driving just about bearable.
Child seats and belts are built into the second row of seats so the Sharan is very adaptable without requiring extra storage for the child seats. The seats can also be clipped in and out very easily to create a large carrying capacity.
